Getting ready to part ways with my considerably modded Series 1 (2000) EMaxx collection.

I have a perspective, but I'm out of date. Does it make sense to sell disassembled or assembled?

Am going to sell two EMaxxs and all additional backup parts as one group. One is a high performance single motor brushless, the other is traditional two Traxxas motor, but plenty of graphite & aluminum upgrades. Two traditional EMaxx pickup bodies & a new Gravedigger body & matching new tires & wheels. All aluminum or Titanium diffs, tranny case, and more. (Damn it, see a bunch of photos missing that I'm going to have to reshoot! 😡). I have around 50 photos of all of this.

My UltraSuperMaxx will go into its own auction. Won't mention original cost because it's mind blowing.

So, should I assemble all of these cleaned and like new parts or leave them disassembled?

I don't know how large your local market is for seperate parts, but in my area I wouldn't even bother. I think it would be a great solution to put all parts together, so someone can build a full truck off of it himself

Thanks folks. I plan to sell all parts as a group and everything is there to build two full EMaxxs and still have parts left over.

It sounds like you think I should go ahead and assemble them before listing. I think that I'll do that with the stock bodies, then show the Grave Digger body and wheels as parts.

I do a fair amount of fleabay hunting. I see a fair number of 'parts lots'.
Usually its a pile of mismatched junk or you get the left half of the trans case in a $100 lot and right case cost another $100 🙄
I think assemble. Show ppl what you have is nice and all belongs together. 👍

Yeah, I've seen people mention the same in the past. Just never could imagine scamming people like that, so wasn't thinking about this.

I'll assemble. They are two heavily modded, complete EMaxxs so anyone relatively new to RC can get right in once they buy the batts.

A side note, I discovered a small box of twisted axles that I was going to send to Mike Smith in the UK with a "complaint" that his brushless motors had too much torque. I never got around to pulling the joke on him.
