seized torq.16

[STONER RC]

Broke down the torq.16 this afternoon.. pretty gummed up but got her spinning free now.. with a little heat and a some wrenching... its FREE to crank again!!!

She is spinning good now with some oil in bearings. Also around the sleeve and piston she's a free

Wow the piston and sleeve. look alot better then I thought they would.. might just clean it and rebuild.. and fire it up see what happens

Nice. One of these days I need to tear into my nitro and get it going again. I think this Spring that is the plan. Winter is all indoor stuff this year unless I find a 1/8 truck I can put some tracks and a snow plow on

Update on the duratrax maximum mt.. TORQ .16 nitro. Well broke it down cleaned her up and now it's back to together. Looks good got compression so there's hope for the old girl yet! Need to find a pull start for her. I don't like roto start. I stole this one off another VX.18 engine to close her up. She's got a 6mm shaft so shouldn't be to hard to find a pull for her. One step closer...little before and after...

I wish I could have. This engine sucked cleaning. But I try to do it rite the first time. I also try to take pride in the crap I love to do.... THANKS BUD
