If you look at it closely its a forum.
A long lost friend of mine has been into it from day one as a beta tester. Its an entire world with everything you can imagine and more.
I can somewhat agree with the statement that its for people with no life. I toured it last night on his account and got lost for hours. People have built an entire lifestyle inside that world and are making real money to support them selves in the real world.
Believe it or not someone has made an RC track where you can purchase and drive RC cars. People play games, gamble, Have V-Sex, and all sorts of poop. Its amazes me that people spend this much time creating and developing their existence inside this world.
Like i said it is a forum but goes much deeper.

It would be great if you were paralized. Like that original Star trek episode about the former captain in a life support wheelchair. He wanted to go to an off-limits alien world where they let him live in a fantasy world where he was a stud.
I can only imagine it being worthwhile for normal people if you are an apartment dweller in a big city with no rc tracks around!
