Let me tell you something folks, I just hung up with these people, and I am Pissed!
I (like a fool) Go and buy my wife the Calypso washing machine by Wirlpool
for my wife for a mear $1200 bucks.
Peanuts!
I have had nothing but trouble with this machine since a month after I bought it 3 years ago.
You have to know me to understand my patience.
I can take a good beating, but after a while, I just lose my mind.
Anyway, a month after I get it, the spin cycle sounds like an Apache helicopter is making a landing in my house.
The china cabinet chimes from the vibration of the washer.
I call, the come, they tell my wife that its fixed and leave.
I come home from work, being the skeptic, and turn the machine on. Same poop!
I call and they send another genius. He tells my wife that there was a piece of foam smacking against the inner portion of the washer, and when it hits spin, it hits the side of the shell. It's fixed.
Again, being the skeptic, Bullshit!! no good.
this whet on and on for about a year or two.
Finally, I called and said that I want a new machine.
They send 2 repair men, and I made sure I was home from work this time.
They rebuilt the whole friggin washer from top to bottom. Cost them over $500 in parts.
Every thing but the shell and door.
Great, right? Wrong!!
A week later the Apache came back for another fly by, and it was the same old song again.
Being a patient soul, I deal with it for 6 months. I figured 'hey, it's washing the clothes real well, so deal with the noise.
Well, My wife calls me today with new details.
The washer wont finish a cycle, It's leaking water, keeps coming up with error codes on the digi screen.
I call customer service and lose my mind, due to the nasty biotch on the phone.
I tell them that I want a new machine. I getsent to some other tool on the phone. Even though I had them to my house to repair this thing eight times, it wasn't 4 times in one year, so they wont replace it. It has to have had a "functional part" changed, and the foam removal wasn't a functional part. Are they for real or what! They told me that the best I could get would be a repair man on August 3rd.
I have 6 people in my house!! Thats a lot of laundry.
I just needed to blow off steam, sorry guys. but this is bullshit!
My new lesson in life is to
get my appliances from Lowes from now on.
