sealing the carberator

What are you using to seal them?

I have seen people use "Associated Green Slime" anybody use anything else??

I know about RTV for the back plate and the carb throat.... I am talking about the needles.

I use RTV on the banjo fitting of the HSN to make sure it's sealed well. But otherwise, just the slime to lube the o-rings. If they start leaking or looking dry, I usually just replace them and put a drop of slime on the new ones to lube it a bit so they don't tear.

I use Permatex Ultra Copper Sensor-Safe RTV. Works like a charm.

You guys are using RTV on em? how do you adjust em after it dries?

No rtv on the needles/o-rings. Just make sure the o-rings are good and something to lube them as Olds stated.

OH, OK, BESIDES green slime......Just any kind of light, clear grease, maybe like 3-in-one oil, after run oil, even motor oil. Do not use shock oil, as this will cause the O-rings to swell.
