Sealing Engine

I am wondering is it worth sealing the engine? I have ran about a gallon threw my engine and yet to seal it.. I am thinking about doing it but i am wondering is it worth it? I do sometimes have trouble setting the idle not if sealing it would help any.. But i am wondering should i do it?

Always seal your engines. Cheap, easy piece of mind. There's absolutely no reason not to.

Whats a good sealant to use? I was going to buy some black RTV sealant but it is not gas proof, and that will just be a waste. I seen that people use the Copper RTV sealant but i am wondering is there anything better i can use or is that stuff good?

Copper rtv is the right stuff.

+1^^^ Thats what I use on my rigs. A tube will run you $5ish but you could probably seal 50 engines with it.
