Scx24 diy chassis

Out of Curiosity did anyone tried to Design and make his own wood\metal\plastic chassis for the scx24 ?

It wouldn't be too difficult, but the carbon fiber chassis on Amazon are cheap and much better than the stock chassis. Unless you are wanting to do something different. I definitely wouldn't try wood or plastic.

Definitely won't be easy and easy is not fun
I have seen someone on ytube with a wooden one

I'm just looking for an interesting new project for 2023

I'm not sure why you would want a wood frame when you could have a carbon fiber one for less than $20. If you're just doing it to say you did it then go for it. Otherwise Id say buy the CF ones.
