As well as printing parts for my rollback truck project I'm designing and printing parts to add an additional door handle to my front screen door.

This handle will be on the hinge side of the door and face into the house instead of facing outside. My joystick for my powerchair is on the left, the door is hinged on the right (looking in from outside). I don't have the screen door auto closer doohickey installed because it's problematic for getting in and out of the house without banging up the screen door.

I'll be able to reach my right arm back, grab the handle and swing the door shut behind me when entering the house. I already do something like that by grabbing the edge of the window frame, but I have trouble gripping the window frame and often have to go grab a reacher to pull the door shut after I'm in the house.

I've already printed the inside mount and have added two nuts to it. The inside mount and the handle shown here have matching dovetail joints so to install the handle line it up with the top of the door mount, press it toward the door, then slide it down until it stops. The door mount is completely hidden within the handle and no nuts show.

I've designed a similar setup on the outside side of the door with a sliding cover with my address number on it that conceals the bolt heads.

I love how easy it is to remove support material from ABS, though for parts that don't require a lot of durability I tend to stick to PLA.
