After taking the sleeve out of the CV-X, I found a couple of scratches above the exaust port. They're not deep but I can feel them whenever I run my finger across them.

So, my question is, will this affect performance? and will I have to get a whole new mill?

Oh, since I'm here, what would cause the white plastic pieces on the side of the wrist pin to break?

Thanx :D

are the scatches on the sleeve or on the case?

either way if there isnt small pieces of metal hanging down kinda blocking the opening i think your fine.
if its small minor scratches on the case, you can prolly smooth them out with some #000 steel wool.
i wouldnt be concerned about it unless you noticed a performance drop.

Even if the scratches do affect performance, you wont need to buy a whole new mill(unless you want to). The beauty of the little 2 stroke engines is that you can rebuild them. It isn't all that difficult if you are fairly adept and patient.
