anyone know of a good setup for the sc10? I'm racing on hard packed clay with a 19t moter. we have to run stock tires.

If you can, turn the stock tires into slicks in the rear. When the clay is moist they will hook up like you wouldn't believe.

As for set up, here's what I run:
Front- blue springs, stock pistons, 40wt oil, gold sway bar (AE FT swaybar kit)- the sway bar requires a little modification to the top plate to get it mounted. I will try to post some pics soon.

Rear- black springs, stock pistons, 30wt oil, black sway bar (bolts right in) also, drill another hole in the shock tower (inside the 3 existing holes) and it will help stabilize the rear of the truck.

I run my battery as far back as it will go and have 1oz of lead stuck on the front end.

Tires are the only thing keeping these trucks from being awesome on clay. It's a constant battle for traction out there as soon as the track dries up a little.

Set-ups are a personal thing - dependant of driver preferences and track conditions/layout. And since none of those parameters are the same for everyone/everywhere, this question is moot. ;)

Spend some time working on your own, while learning the truck, and you'll be better off.

Green springs are the next softest from black. What are your track conditions? If you have a very high bite track the green springs should work well, you may want to go with 32.5wt. oil though. 35wt. is a little too much from my experience. I run the blacks because I am constantly battling for forward bite and the softer rate in the rear helps the truck to "squat".

At some point I want to build a 4-link inspired rear suspension for these trucks. It would have adjustable geometry and I think could really improve the tractive effort of the trucks. I think the easiest way to accomplish what I'm looking for is a more conventional 5-link style setup.
