well i now have a job and i have bought almost everything i have everwonted so i was going through my favorites and found this that i was looking at about 5 years ago so now i saveing up for it now i have a job ok it is a DPMS panther lite 16 carbine here is the pic
dpms_panther_lite.gif

so for a grand total of 699 bucks free shipping but i gotta get it from a ffl dealer so but still is this worth it its a 223 cal. crome molly recever only thing is that it has a fixed stock so but i still like it so i will have it in about 3 and a half months ill have some pics

VERY nice! I scored a Colt AR-15 HBar a couple years ago and love it. I went with the heavier barrel and left everything else stock.

I like the buttstock on that one you got there much better, I seen one at the gun center just about a week ago. I think that is the shorter barrel wrap too.

Great choice!

i gots a question...what do you guys do with those guns? i mean, ya can't shoot squirls in the back yard and i figure you dont hunt with them or kill people... are they mainly for show?

You live in huntsville I can understand why you dont understand, lol. In the area we live in we can leave town easily and go shoot guns. Our dads get drunk and set us up beer cans and we shoot them ro whatever. It's blast to go out and fire off some rounds.

Gun enthusiasts will get em just to have em. I had a Bushmaster ar-15 like 7 years ago and sold for a styr AUG that I sold to get a few other things. I was hating life after that!

Have fun with it!!!

Jon

oh i will I'm saveing 50 dollars or more a week untill i can get it and about 1000 rounds lol its gonna be sweet does anyone know how to make it fullauto or triburst waste land do u think ep would know?

Do a google search. Its a rather intense process, and unless you have a spare lower assembly, I dont suggest doing it.

If you obtain your FFL license you can just buy one legall, and fire it legally. That is your BEST bet!

well I'm just 16 i caint get my ffl license can i

they also have a 22 cal just like that its sweet but more expensive i wonder why well anyway I'm getting that 223 its gonna be sweet dang 3 months is a long way away does anyone know where i can get one cheaper than $699

No. My Colt was 1,500. But thats because its a Colt Pre-Ban I'm sure.

Anyhow, at age 16, I will strongly discourage you from modifying your firearm at all!!! Its not worth it!

yea i just got back from my local ffl dealer / pawn shop and the gun shipped taxed and redgesterd is gonna be $699.95 he got it at cost and he was cool he took me in his office and showed me all his m4a1's and he had an israelian uzi i have to say it looked sweet he had a sweet ass ak 47 but not as sweet as mine he was cool he said he know my mom so he is gonna sell me the gun at cost and is gonna give me a couple hundred rounds of ammo when i get it hell yea i can allready hear the sound of that gun well i gotta get ready for work see yall later

also does anyone know if a colt 30 round clip will fit in that gun sorry just thought abou that

Yes - a 30 will work. I have even seen 40's and drums made for them.

Albeit, you wont be able to buy a brand new 30 unless you are law enforcement, but you can buy 3rd world used ones. doesn't make sense to me.

Home defense
Groundhog hunting (short range)
and busting caps.

I've shot a real shorty with the colapsable stock, and I thought it was kind of harsh for a 223. If I was going to get an AR, I'd either get a preban, or wait till the ban is lifted. If not, get the non collapseable stock.
