Is there a way to bring a discharged Spekrum smart battery up to a point where I can put it on my charger?
I flew my RC plane into a tree. It took over a week to get it out of the tree. By that time the battery was totally discharged and my charger wouldn't accept it.
Since the battery doesn't have a balance lead, I can't charge it into a charger to bring it up to a point where I can safely recharge it.

I would trash it. Lipos are dangerous. I gave some batteries to hobby town to dispose of. Scary batteries for sure.
Definitely should go in the trash because it could burn your house down.

That being said, you could jump it with another battery of the same voltage. But you’ll be risking both batteries and your house. On the plus side you might see some cool fireworks

I use the lipo bag in a metal can. I keep mine at storage charge. I saw on You Tube that one dudes house burn down when he left it on a charger and went to work only to come home to a burnt down garage. Scary.

I'm guessing you're using a smart charger, do you have a regular charger? If so, change the charger setting to a nicad battery. Charge it as a nicad to about 3.5 per cell, then charge it as a regular lipo. If that doesn't work you'll probably have to get rid of it. To be on the safe side, you might want to charge it outside.
