looking to buy a new truck after I get a good understanding of how to mantain and operate them properly anybody know aanything about the new savage XL

If it's going to be a beginner car, I wouldn't recommend it. If you're looking to learn how it works, were things go if they fall off, etc, get the Savage X SS.

I bought a tmaxx .15 for $50 bucks from a guy and I just added the TRX 3.3 to it this is my first truck and I am going to learn how things work and learn everything I can with it and them look into buying something new.

You did good. Real good. The 3.3 will really let you enjoy it, and you'll have a great truck to learn on, that cost you almost nothing. Enjoy.
