Just bought some fuel line at my local model shop today and he had the new 2 stroke savage it looks awesome and I want one just a lil pricey at £774 full kit included any body else seen or gad the privilege of owning one what they like?

They're really too new, yet. My LHS had one in and haven't heard anything.

The Savage Octane is pricey and I do agree that it's too early to grab one. There's been track records of products being released in the market that are rushed out due to demand and some are lemons. Also for the price tag of this new tech is almost the cost of an HPI large scale.

I hope that HPI works out the bugs on the Octane. It appears that many of the first couple thousand buyers worldwide got sent rigs that had incorrect spark plug gap and HPI took forever to sort it out. Seem's like nobody could get these things to run out of the box. Then once it was determined that the plug gap was most of peoples issue, it takes a minimum of 15ish full tanks to break in the engine. But doesn't start to come close to running right until at least 20-25 full tanks.

That's a lot of break in. And from many dozens of Youtube vids, they run like crap the entire time.

And the new Losi gasser doesn't appear to have any issues. A couple tanks for break in and its good to go.
