savage xl vs savage x?

I had issues with the slipper with the LRP28S3 in mine. I could only gear up to a 49/15 with revo 3.3 tires or it would slip uncontrollably and melt the spur.

Isn't the fastest thing... but it moves pretty good and pretty much wheelies whenever I touch the throttle. At least the spurs hold up now.
