I recently bought a used XL and it has a reverse module in it. I finally got the motor running and it is stuck in reverse. I've never dealt with a reverse in a nitro before. The third channel switches from forward and reverse but it only moves in reverse. Aside from taking apart the tranny, any ideas to how I might fix this?
 
Any chance the gearing in the front and rear ends were installed incorrectly? I have read in a few different threads about 1 or both of them being flipped when they were rebuilt. Obviously. This could cause big issues....
 
I figured out the issue with reverse. I unplugged the reverse module plug and now it goes forward. I got the idea from another forum. I guess it resets the tranny to forward. All I know is that is worked! Thanks for the suggestion.
