IMO, the WORST part about it are the aluminum arms.
Aluminum arms are for bling only and are useless for real world bashing. Once you bend an aluminum arm, you might as well throw it away. Plastic arms offer some give which is vital to prevent breakage.
If you buy it, take the aluminum arms off, sell them and get yourself some stockers or RPM arms.
A used RC should not cost more than a brand new one no matter what has been put on it.
I agree with Charlie, you are spending a lot of time looking at used rigs in eBay. Most cost more than a brand new one. Maybe you should consider buying a brand new one that you can call your own. At least you won't be buying someones hidden problems.
I don't know your skill level, but generally used rigs should be reserved for those who are proficient in diagnosing and fixing any problems that you may inherit. Just my![]()
His auction description is a bit misleading, but nowhere does he actually say it is an XL.
If you don't want the hassle of nitro, you should consider either the latest Traxxas EMaxx or the new ERevo when it is released. Both are brushless ready.
Yes, but the only item XL on it is the engine as stated in his description. As a general rule of thumb, ignore what is written on auction titles. It is what is actually listed in the description that counts.
I have never heard of the RC in the auction link.
Are parts readily available for it?
Have you done a Google search on it to see if there is any information on it?
Personally, I would not waste my $$ on it since it looks like something you buy at a toy store.
AH ok ,i'm not doing very well am i :LoL:Stay away from that last truck that you posted. As a rule of thumb, the off-brand stuff is way more expensive to buy because of the poor quality and the lack of parts and support. It's cheaper to buy at first, but usually you can only buy the parts from that company that makes them and if you can buy them at all it's expensive and a real pain. The trucks just don't hold up like the better brands, and you end up really dissapointed or spending more money to replace it in a few months because you keep having to buy parts that cost more than the truck.
