savage x radio box

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is an aluminum radio box available for the Savage? I dont want to put a bunch of aluminum parts on it and have a big plastic box!

Instead of having a "box", you could just mount up a plate in the area the box goes and a velcro strap to hold down the receiver/battery. Gets rid of the plastic box and should be fairly easy to make.

I got rid of my radio box in the front with a mid tank mod like Olds had mentioned. My plate is by FastLane Machine.
