Wow you talk like I'm a idiot or something you must not be able to read to clearly and who ever said i was taking it out in a foot of snow? Also I said if I was to break it in NOT I'm going to break it in on the bench....just saying i have done a bench break in before its really no different that doing it outside on a warm day its still heat cycling the engine at the right temps thats really all a break in consist of right?

Just tryin' to send you in the right direction sparky. I doubt your patient enough to do a bench break in with that attitude. Didn't mean to yank on your panties.

the break in is just putting the engine through several different heat temps like you say. Its just so its loosens up and gets all parts working nicely together. However, the engines we use are self cooling. They use the cooling head to keep the temps down. If you are running your truck on a bench it is not getting the cold air it needs to get a nice break in. They can only get this from forward motion. If anything it is going to run hotter inside which would mean the break in has been "speeded up" if you will. I can't see a problem with running a few tanks through it on idle inside. But when it comes to doing the next stage of half throttle and eventually 1 second WOT i'd be outside. You may even restrict the engine by putting a hose on the exhaust. Be careful though as nitro fumes are lethal. I'm sure which ever method you choose will be the right one for you.

We are all here to help. Happy days.:)
