i got a savage x f4.1 that is second hand but in very good condition runs well but recentenly I've found it getting worse maybe to the weather but it keeps cutting out after 30 seconds I've checked the throttle-brake servo. and it seems fine as iam new to the sport i would could do with the process of elimination, as it is really pissing me off now!!! please help me!!

If it's cold there you have to richen the engine or it'll be too lean. You could try setting it back to the factory break in settings and then retuning from those. I have no idea what the settings are but one of the savage owners might pop in with the settings. Good luck!

no it wont tick over at all. i have to blip the throttle to keep it going then i drive it for about 30 sec then it just cuts out. also I've put the needle back to factory setting and it hasnt made a difference.
 
If it's pull start slowly pull the rope to see if it has compression. If you don't feel any resistance than it needs a rebuild.
 
no its roto start and i can feel the compression is ok. would a new glow plug help or maybe adjusting the low speed needle
 
Just to be sure you could change the glow plug. You could try richening the LSN because it sounds like you've got a lean problem.
