If anyone could help me with any ideas why my savage .25 won't turn it would be appreciated. It worked last weekend and when I took it out today it would not turn the wheels just turned all the way to the left. The remote works for the throttle but does nothing for the steering. Please someone help me!!

Did you crash at all when you last drove it ? I'm guessing either the connector for the steering servo is loose, or the wires are damaged, or in the worst case scenario your servo is dead. If you have good batteries and wires are fine your servo is most likely dead. With these trucks its hard on the servos to push those tires back n forth from so much weight.

Also, check the steering assembly for anything jamming it. After you check all those things and they seem alright have the wheels off the ground and turn your radios wheel see if you hear any thing like the motor in the servo. if you hear nothing then it must be bad.

I hear nothing when I turn the wheel on the radio but when I turn the truck on the servo turns the wheels one way and the radio don't do any thing . I plan on trying new batteries in the truck and the radio tomorrow cause i drove it into my garage and shut it off last weekend and all was fine. It also got cold out so maybe that drained my batteries cause i forgot my radio out there so I hope that works. Thanks for the help

Ohh well then its probably the batteries if it was working properly last time no issues. like you said the batteries are probably dead. good luck !!

if you tightend two screws that go into the bottom and down into the top of the piece that connects to the wheel then you more then likely tightened them so the wheels wont turn, i did it one time by a mistake. good luck, hopefully its something easy to fix!

i must have plugged the the plug into the receiver in the wrong spot cause i moved them around and everything worked fine, thanks for the ideas

Lucky you didn't fry your receiver or servos.

I've had the issue where servos turn to one side and then become unresponsive... every time it's due to water damage.
