thanks for everyones help on my wasp28 engine.......its screaming now........got another problem now..........my wheels keep falin off when I'm driving, not bashin, just drivin not over half throttle..........the aluminum c-hub that holds the bearrings has a flange inside that keeps the inner & outer wheel bearings from toutching each other & moving back and forth.......its that flange that keeps breaking then my wheelsjust come off........why does this keep happening ? done went through 5 c-hubs allready and I'm tired of chacing down runaway wheels.......

Oh, I understand what he means. The hubs are experiencing "pull through". I've never seen that happen yet. You may want to go back to the stock set, and perhaps check the drive cups themselves for wear. If they are worn in any way, the stress could be enough to pull the bearings through.

thats whats happening........pulling through......nothings binding though & i replaced all the wheel bearings too.......just for some odd reason the molded in ring thing that sepperates the inner & outer wheel bearings gets riped out & there goes my tires & bearings passing up the truck......

Are they 14mm hubs or larger. If you are running something that is not compatible than you will find problems.

Please state the manufacturer and rim name so we can help ya out.

I'm running weldracing beadloks that are 40 series & the hexes are a little bigger than the standard ones which comes installed in the savage 25.......i think they are 17 but not sure.....been a while since I've installed them.......didnt have that problem when i installed them but i put new c-hubs on in place of the stock ones that i wore out & thats when i started having trouble with runaway wheels.....I've also tried using the stock rims/hex and still have runaway wheels........i done ran outa idears on what could be the problem unless the hobbyshop got a shipment of faulty c-hubs in.........

What company are the C-hubs from? I'm just curious if they are integy or not. I would try balancing your wheels. The extra vibrations from them not being balanced difinantly doesn't help, and eliminating it may be just enough to stop the problem. Either way, if it doesn't help your truck will perform better when you get the problem fixed.

all 40 series modems I have owned are 23mm or 14mm.

Do a visual and let us know.
