yeah i have a 3.3 engine in an old pro.15 truck and have yet to snap a driveshaft interesting??

i am getting prepared to convert it all to wide maxx though which does strengthen the drivetraina alot
 
Go FO conversion.....gets rid of the PITA clutches in the Tranny and sets it up a lot more like a Savage internally....go metal gears.....every damn other thing on the truck will break...but never your tranny.....good times
 
Haha. This is awesome.

I love the debate imho, because it helps me learn all the +'s,-'s a out there on all the mt's available. I am currently looking between the Savage XL 5.0 and the MGT 8.0. Sorry to post this on a thread where it doesn't belong, but nobody has responded to mine, and I don't know anything about this site cause I'm so new. Anyhow any pointers?
 
i would go with the mgt because it has so much power and i have yet to hear a bad thing about one of those trucks also try the other monster truck forum there should be some stuff on the 8.0 there
