Just drove my savage again this weekend for 4 hours. 2 yesterday, 2 today. No broken parts. I did bend the crap out of my roll bar though... tried doing a flip.

I try not to stay out for anymore than 2 hours at a time because I start doing really stupid stuff. Today, I was attempting flips. After landing on the roof twice, I got it figured out... I could never beat my maxx this hard and have a truck that that didn't need $50 or more worth of parts and 3 hours of fixing!

Has anybody noticed that Olds doesn't like the T-Maxx? heh... Glad to hear yer havin fun bro, get some video if ya can

I had a maxx and this is in the savage forum. I just remember all the days I spent working on my maxx's instead of beating them to death. I realize I was hard on my stuff and I still am. It's just that for what I do, the savage seems to hold together better.

I can't shoot vids because I'm always alone. Maybe I'll try to get my wife to go out with me for awhile next time... she stinks with the camera though. She's always pointing about 5 feet behind where she should be pointing. The last time I took her, she didn't realize she was out of sync with the recording. She would point, hit the button, follow the truck, hit the button... When she was taking video of the truck, she was shutting it off. I have about 20 minutes of her shoes and whatever was behind her...

I don't have the heart to tell her... it made it awkward when she asked to see the vid afterwords though.

Can't wait to put my SS through the torture!!! Half way through breaking in the engine now.... Only ran a tank today, snowboarding took up too much time. Gonna do a few more tomorrow night after work if I get off early enough. And as far as the wife goes... LoL thats comedy. I'm tryin to get my buddies into RC so I can have someone to run with.. as it is, I tear around at my house.. gonna start building some jumps -- But no Vid cam to record anything. Gimme a few months and maybe :)

I enjoy wrenching on my R/Cs almost as much as running them, maybe this explains my love for my Maxxs.

Heh, Olds I'm so glad ypu got a savage and it's working for you.

You spent sooo much time and money on your maxxes I'm glad to see you get some fiox free run time.

Think of it this way, if you would never have had a maxx, you wouldn't apppreciate the Savage so much. I've had ST's 2wd Buggy's and electrics.

I really appreciate the savage now, and how I can just bash it, throw it in the garage, and it's ready to go the next time with fresh fuel and filter..
