hi guys,
yesterday i was on the mud track. I noticed one thing that my savage was skidding a lot compared to MT4 TRUCK of my friend. even with the slowest turn my truck skidded almost 180 degree.
IT DOES NOT HOLD THE GROUND that well
WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM
1. IS IT THE TYRES PROBLEM?( I USE THE STOCK TYRES)
2. SUSPENSION PROBLEM?
3. SERVO SAVER PROBLEM?
4. OR ANY OHTER PROBLEM?
IS ROLEX AROUND???????:)

Good timing. I'm making a cameo appearance.
How would I know? I get GREAT traction on the glass shelf.
Actually, tires make a tremendous difference, depending on what type of surface you're running on. When I had a Tmaxx and ran on a dusty clay track, I used the ProLine pin tires all the way around. (Max Mulchers, I believe they were called)
When the track was moist after a rain, or during high humidity, I put the stock tires on front to keep from skidding the rear around due to too much front grip.
You need to experiment depending on what surface you run on. Hang in there and wait for a few other replies.

EDIT: I just re-read your post and noticed that you mentioned a 'muddy track'. If you put pin tires on the back, you'd be all set.

Tires and suspension. The stock tires are worthless on a racetrack.
You need softer springs for racing as well. The HPI Green springs do a good job improving handling.

Try using crime fighters. that is what they run at my track on the truggies and monster trucks and the seem to work well on alot of different surfaces. You may need to switch over to a 17mm or 23mm hub, which can get a little pricy for the savage. That is one of the first things I did to my old Revo 2.5. I am looking into doing it to my Savage X and 25.

thanks guys i will pick the tyres today and will post the results.
