bag of goodies are: sweet air-filter w/ the inside elements, dual disc brake set-up (remove the original brake set-up and add this dual), a piece that slides on the crank shaft(forget what its called but it's aluminum and better, remove the stock one) purple anodized servo saver, FREE glo-plug, heavy duty 3 shoe clutch, a 47t spur gear (remove the 49t), suspension stiffeners,a gang of SS Big Block 4.6 stickers, bunch of extra screws and servo arms, gang of body cliips (the are easy to lose), adjustable toe-in arms for better conering, a bigger truck top mount for those hummers, and excursion bodies. i swear the upgrage bag is full of stuff. you'll be amazed and very appreciative.
i got the body painted and the decals on it, and i still have tons of decals for an aftermarket body. I'm gonna take pics and post them for you guys today.
I'm itching like an incident. still waiting for the switch harness, jr xs3 radio and rs300 receiver. i bought a gallon of gas for this thing as well, and made my own 6v 1100mah receiver pack w/ connector for $14.
in the engine manual it say's that the middle speed needle not be adjusted, just the hsn and the lsn. it also says when breaking it in that radio should be turned off and the carb be opened a quarter inch and let it run for a tank of gas. i'll be ancy as hell watching it sitting there waiting for it to go through a tank of gas.
what is the best way to stop the engine? it says 2 ways but i've heard mixed reviews. one way said pinch the fuel line, but this makes the engine run lean as it isn't getting gas and could hurt the engine. the other way says to put a rag over the exhaust outlet this way i heard is not good at all.
which is the best way/safest way? pics to come soon.
