For me, for my Savage X between 40 and 50. AND i can't wait to see how much that baby will fly with the high speed 3rd gear in it...summer can't come fast enough...oh well i gues i'll go bash the savage 25 into a snowbank now then.:D

i have about 700 bucks into my savage about 200 bucks worth of performance stuff 3 speed tranny higher 3rd gear for the tranny racing clutchbell and racing spur gear i tuned it right new tires and wheels turbo glowplug tuned pipe and i hit 60 on my block and that was gps vertified. i know that i can get it to go faster soon though:)

I think that with the right amount of money you could make any Nitro hit 60+ but out of the box the Savage isn't a speed demon. I have a Savage X SS and it's my favorite basher but my/your Revo would smoke it on flat ground or a track.

my savage gos about 80-100 it flies
and all up I've spent about 800 dollars including the savage
i love the awesome power.

LOL...Anybody that says they have a Savage that goes much faster than 50 to 55 is full of it. I'm sure there are some out there, but out of the box stock with only a 3 speed upgrade mine hit 43 leaned way out. That was verified by radar. I would like to know what these guys are using to get the extra 20+ mph. A motor and gearing alone will not do it. It takes quite a bit to make an on-road hit those speeds, let alone a big heavy monster truck.

X2!
It requires EXTENSIVE weight removal and massive HP to even touch 50 with a Savage!

its finding the right spur and clutchbell you want right pipe bigger motor different tranny gear ratios the % of fuel you use depends if u tuned it right how big or small the tires are how many head shimms you have on there the list goes on and on. i beleive it 80 is a lil to fast 4 a savage

I had a modded STS .30 in a 10 1/2 pound Savage...it would smoke any monster truck I lined up against. On a good day it might have hit 44-45. That engine easily turned 40K rpm...

That kind of talk can only be backed up by PROOF or some darn good video editing. I get headaches even trying to think of how to make a Savage hit 80.

i dont mean to interupt.. but all these 60mph post are useless with out verification..ie; VIDEO!!! i have yet to EVER see a 55mph savvy.. not to say they arent fast, couse they are.

i think 45 to 55 is do able but 80 too 100 is there a jet engine involved to get that speed lol

I will have to find me a cop and get mine clocked....I am pretty sure I am in to the low 50s with mine w/the 7" tall tires on. Higher 3rd gear set and tall bell/spur combo.
