is a top spec savage as good as a t maxx 3.3, I'm happy with my maxx but it will be interestind to hear what the differences are and which monster truck yous think is better?:\

I've had 2 Maxxs, still have the second, but my Savage is the ONLY rig that will never leave my posession. The one and only thing I like better on the Maxx is it will turn a much tighter radius.

If I could go back to march 2009, I would get a savage, not a maxx. I bought 150$ worth of crap with my maxx and it still wasn't all that impressive. Now I've gone and put another 400 in it and it's awesome now.:hehe: I think a savage would be better in the long haul.

There really isn't a comparison between the two since the Savage is an 1/8 scale and the Maxx is 1/10, I own both and can say that out of the box the Savage is going to take a beating far longer than the maxx and outrun it as well.

I have had a couple Maxx's and a couple Savages. I think the Savage is the over all better truck IMO. Now my current Maxx is every bit as tough as a Savage and as fast. Sure it took a fricking mint to make it happen....but all things aside I would say go with the Savage.

Maxx, just like the the way its set up I think its easier to work on and I can go to any LHS here and they will have parts not so with the savage

Savage turns like a jacked up 4x4 brick on wheels....but it's just as tough as a 4x4 brick on wheels....If you learn to drive then the maxx isn't as bad as all that.....just don't crash it and you're golden...
