Yes, they will fit.
The hex is the same size, but the axle isn't. At least I don't think it is. I thought the maxx axle was 6mm while the savage is 8mm. So if you try using the actual savage hex on a t-maxx, it will be a sloppy fit.

NO, the hexes are not interchangable. The outside hex is the same so you can use Maxx or Savage rims, but the axle size is different.
