Well generally I like to do big air jumps. But there aren't a lot around unfortunately.

Right now we've got some pretty good snow and I like to run my truck on this one pretty steep hill and just watch the truck grab for traction as it slowly climbs the hill

RT - good tip, I will try to look for a barn that is not being used, hopefully somewhere out in the suburbs nearby.

kwong - if you like big jumps like I do and could not find one, try using a BMX or skate board ramp. That's what we use and you can take it pretty much wherever you'd like to go bashing it's portable. With these jumps, I can go 7-9 ft in the air and still land them perfect!

yea goto wal-mart and get some plastic "bmx" ramps they arnt really for serious bmxers but they are sure durable, we not only get 10 foot jumps off of them, we hit them with a 400 gokart too.

(usually, for the trucks, we stack one ramp on top of another, for maximum heigth)

i think they run about 10-5$ each, well worth the money

they have a sweet curve in the slope that really makes the truck fly right.

How wide are the ramps? The kids in my cul-de-sac have a ramp, and its only about 2 feet wide. I can't hit it straight on most of the time, so I hit the edge and do spectacular cartwheels. I'll have to go look around again at ramps.

Yeah, those are the ones we have. I never hought of putting them together. I always have to share with the kids, or their parents get mad.

u guys should see my jump took a crate that held a palette of rock than put on a wharehouse bottom suport bard thing and screwed in some 1/8 in plywood gave it some cinder blocks for support and then covered it in dirt. its really good go about twelve feet in the air with a savage 21 and the 21bb can go 30 ftin length and i also modified it so theres a door on the side and it makes a great storage place since its hollow

i made a jump with pegboard you can get from homedepot or a local departement store. first time i tried it out, went off the side and the board like made hole where the post thing was holdn it up. if you can support oen good you will get air. i got like 6-7 in the air goin like 1/4 throttle after i broke the board and just kept playin on it. hehe:banana:
