I have a savage x old style with a 5.9 and a three speed transmission. I can't seem to get it to shift. I have a 16 tooth clutch bell and 52 tooth spur gear. Does anyone know how i need to adjust the 2nd and 3rd gear clutch? Like how many turns from flush i need to try I've had no luck.
 
Could really use some help guys. I'm not really familiar with the transmission adjustment and its brand new tranny
 
Make sure the slipper is snug and the engine is tuned well before making any shift point adjustments.
