Hey guys I'm thinking of getting an MT and am not sure if I should just get the RTR Savage 25 or the SS. Is there a big difference in the SS. I have an airtronics MX3 on my buggy which I can use with the addition of another reciever and servos for the MT but that would bring the price of the SS a little higher that the 25 RTR.

thanks..

IMO, if you have a list of upgrades you want to make immediately, it may be better to go with the SS.

Personally, I just want to run my truck. So, I went with the RTR.

However, there are some differences between the two. While the SS comes with the ribbed pipe and some other niceties, it also lacks the rotostart and the 3 shoe clutch.

Assembly of the SS would teach you something about your truck, especially if you are new to RC, but some of the important things to learn about how your truck work comes already assembled, like the "diffs" and then engine. So IMO, the SS is one of the few kits that you really wouldn't learn too much....
