Would it matter if I put in diffs from a newer model of savage in my 25? It has the 4.6 in it. They seem to be making some noise like metal hitting on something. IDK but keep going through spur gears like crazy now. Took trans apart it all looked good. Diffs dont look bad took them apart not bad gears or anything. Bearings seemed alright. I'm not sure what else it'd be I have a good mesh.

The reason I ask about the diffs is the ones that are in the 25 are 20 some buck can get ones for the x & other models cheaper.

Thanks in advance.

If you're changing the diffs, put the bulletproof diff in it. You have to change both sets at the same time though, because they are geared differently.

The X diffs should work as far as I've read but I believe most people say use the "bulletproof" ones which I believe are the ones from the Flux? I could be wrong about that but I think thats it. and Alien is right you have to change both of not just one.

yeah i have the 43 t ones now so unless others are 43t have to be changed

I'll prolly end up trying to find some on ebay.
