Hi,
Well i've got a HPI Savage 21 and today i was using my Savage and it turned off because it overheated (I think). Then i tried to turn it back on using the pull start and i couldn't pull it out for some reason. I tried taking the glow plug out and it still didn't work. Do i need new parts or something?
Thanks Guys

View attachment 5627 the flywheel is that silver thing u see there wheres the arrow pointhing at:buggy1::buggy1::buggy1::tank:hope this helps. After you turned it off, did you put the piston at bottom dead center? The manual also have the trucks component and tips that helps too

Unfortunately it sounds like its seized. If you can't turn it over with the pull start or the flywheel something has gone bad internally, check to make sure its not hydro locked by unscrewing the glow plug and trying the pull start or flywheel again. I guess its also possible that it flamed out and cooled off with the piston at the pinch point......

What Boutch was talking about with Bottom Dead Center or BDC is when you are running the engine heats up and the piston sleeve expands because its hot, to help it all cool correctly and not have the piston keeping the sleeve from fully shrinking back to the size it was its a huge help to turn the engine over by hand until the piston is at the lowest point of the stroke, otherwise known as bottom dead center.
Let us know what you find, almost guaranteed someone here has had the exact same issue with the same truck and give you a few more enlightened pointers.
