i have a savage 4wd with a locked rearend and i want to know if its best to run sand tires up front or not and to run it in 2wd or keep 4wd thanks
 
Why sand tires? Are you running in sand or just worried about steering with the locked rear?

I have my rear diff locked and I've run a few different tire designs, but always 4 of the same tread. Had a few steering issues(pushing) until I installed a good servo. The best tires to use vary with what surface you run on. Keep the 4wd.
 
going to be running in sand. I'm taking a trip to sandlake dunes , oregon. just seeing different was to run
