I have 2 NiCd 1500 mAh 6-cell stick packs (one HPI, one Sanyo/Yokomo), and wondered what is a safe level of charge to throw at them when I get my new Hyperion charger?

Yeh, yeh I know I'm still using NiCd, but I already had on pack (well my bro did at least) and the other pack came with my Wheely King 4x4. I converted them over to Deans so I could use it on my AX-10 for the time being, and I figure now I've converted my WK over to Deans also that I may as well go on using them for that until I can get some a decent 2200mAh LiPo for it.

Anyone got any ideas?

You should be able to safely charge 1500 mAh NiCd's at 3.0 amps.

That'd work out at a 30 minute charge time if my calculations are right? That figures as my buddy has a fast charger that takes about 30 mins.

Thanks mate
