RC Driving Style
I've been using the revo since Friday and I'm only getting about 3 runs out of a fully charged pack. Is this normal for this pack, cause all of my other packs give me a lot more. I'm hoping it's not my pack because I've already had to hit Traxxas up for a one way because its already slipping. If you guys are switching out packs which ones are you using.
 
the red light comes on after 30mins for me not sure if that is good or bad it has always been like that i use it for about an hour before i change it i have recently bought the hpi battery pack and the rx on rotation
 
What's a "run"? A tank of fuel?

I'm guessing your running all 4 servo's (2-steering, throttle/brake, reverse)? A lot of guys ditch the dual servo's for a single high torque servo. Also, reverse is removed with a FOC. Doing these two things help make battery life longer.

I run a single hitec 645MG for steering and another (or futaba S3305) for throttle/brake. I get about 8-10 tanks through it before I notice the servo speed change. That's about 1.5 hours of run time give or take. I need to actually take a day and "drive" it to see how long it really lasts. Normally, I get bored at a bash site before the battery dies. The only time I've had it go dead on me was 3 weeks or so ago when I went to a BMX track... that was an AWESOME day!!! Even then, a fellow basher that I met up with had a peak charger that I used off my 1:1 car battery. 15 minutes later, I was bashing again.

I burned about 1/2 - 2/3d's of a gallon that day.
 
Single servo is the only way to go. You can get one decent servo that has more torque than the two stockers combined. With the two, they are constantly fighting each other, no matter how good you are at adjusting. They just suck the life right out of the battery.
 
Thinking of doing FOC and single servo conversion. I most likely will go with a 645, what else is needed to run a single servo setup.
