How likely would these anaconda tires from Traxxas, which or woren down, with traction compound hook up on the track? Compared to a normal bar tire or slick?
I'm wanting to know so I'll test it Wednesday, anacondas vs slicks?

I have slicks for the slash, sct, so I'll compare it with them. I ran the rustler on the track before but it was with 4wd buggy tires and with those buggy tires being so small, there was no suspension really.

Updating this thread, At Beach RC a couple months ago, I ran PL Bald eagle slicks rear and the anacondas front and hooked up pretty well. Tried to run a full set of anacondas today at the local track. Put tire sauce on there. It was "ok" not enough traction and would spin out in the turns. Or could just be I need some throttle control since rear motor on high grip dirt, takes a bit to get used to.

Gonna just save my 2 anaconda sets for both of the cars for street use only. When doing donuts and drifts and such, those rear tires get hot. More heat the better. Could get tire warmers and still test them out at the track but I don't need them. Just something thats too expensive and ill rarely use.
