Rustler:Alluminum Shock Caps?

Throughout running my rustler I have broken several shock caps(5 to be exact). I have bought some aluminum ones from tower hobbies(this is the link to the page: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXJF00) but they didn't fit. Are their aluminum shock caps that fit the rustler stock shocks or will I juuct have to keep buying the stock ones?

Well, since those caps are for the nitro hawk, dont expect them to fit. Do you have the Big Bore shocks?? http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJG94&P=7 If not, you may want to just upgrade to the big bores since they are aluminum... I dont think there are any aluminum caps that fit the nitro rustler...

if i am not mistaken the bigbore shock caps will fit a stock plastic shock, i did that for awhile on my maxx till i got the bigbores ,
if your not into spending alot of cash for bigbores ,then look up the duratrax evader shocks
i used them on my rustler and they fit perfectly and they are cheap esp if you get a good buy off ebay
look up mooneyes on ebay he sells mostly all duratrax parts and very reasonably priced too

they will fit perfectly ,trust me i had them on mine ,
only thing i did differently was install the heavier springs ,the green ones
