I'm reposting this because i don't believe many people look where i posted it before.
Hello,
i would like to make a steel sand rail out of my rustler.
Anyone that knows how to do this can you reply,, or anyone willing to help.
i want it to look like this

If i can't do it on my own i will consider buying one from someone here if they can do it, id rather support you guys.
 
You could either get some metal rod from a hardware store or your LHS and make your own or get this kit. The only problem I see with your plan is the fact that the Rustler is a little long for the scale look of a UTV, the sand rail is more realistic, IMO. I had the same plans for a budget Jato build that I was working on but never finished, I just used a metal rod from Lowes.

I had planned on adding a couple more lines and welding them together like a cage, then throwing a couple body panels on.
 
Yea, I didn't see the original post, I'm pretty sure the kit Alpine is talking about is the same one I linked to.
