I got my savage broken in and its running ok to say the least. During break in the front left tire popped off annd I lost the wheel nut and hex hubs. I didnt have anymore flanged wheel nuts that came with truck so I bought washers for the time being and used the other wheel nuits that cam with truck. As I was finishing up tuning today the same wheel popped off again. I checked the wheels today before I even started driving and they were all tight. Could I be I'm not using loctite or something else? Also the truck is revving up super high but its like its stuck in a gear. When I lift the truck off ground the wheels spin very fast but when I'm driving its very sluggish and doesn't shift into 2nd gear. I tried adjusting the tranny and that didnt help at all.

If I were you, I'd have a look at the slipper pads on the clutch they get worn out over time, also I've had my left tires come off alot, I went out and picked up reverse threaded axles for my savages, I only use them on the left side of the trucks front and back...the reverse thread will keep the flagged nut from backing off while your going forwards, cause if you notice when you push your truck just a couple inches the left tires roll opposite of the normal way everyone tightens a bolt

If you have a could bucks to spare you could get the 17mm hellfire hex nut adapters, I'd still lock tight them though if this is an option for you

Get extra 17mm wheel bolts if you go the hellfire option/on second thought HPI makes them for the savages, I only mentioned this cause I'm not sure if the hellfire axles are the same as the savages, remember to lock tight the wheel nuts before you take it out for a spin and you should be all good

On anything that doesn't connect to plastic I use permatex red, if you use red for anything buy a torch, cause at some point you'll need to get that screw/bolt out

Other people are using blue thread lock, cause its not as strong of a bond as the red, it should be easier to remove screw/bolts that have blue lock tight

I only use red cause I like to jump my basher off of high hills

And not just any old torch look for a pen torch, they're way smaller, and are easy to use

well first it doesn't sound like your tuned right. that would be the reason for the high idle and that it would shift. as far as your wheel fall off check and make sure the Hex nut pin is still in there and isnt missing or broke, if it is that cause the flange nut to turn loose and ultimately fall off the truck.
