Ok, in addition to my rediculous throttle problems (other thread) my buggy is running pretty hot. I don't have a temp gun, but the heat sink is very hot to the touch. I've got this thinkg running pretty rich, still breaking it in, and it's pretty darn hot. Do different glow plugs affect this? My original plug fould out and I replaced it, but the one I got is a little bit longer. Is this a problem? I have since got some A5's, but I haven't installed one yet because they're like $8 a pop and the others are $4. Thanks

make sure you use the right plug. dont be cheap. also, any running engine is quite hot to the touch. 250 degrees is nothing to put your finger on. do the spit test if you dont have a temp gun. spit on the head of the engine and see how long it takes to evaporate. if it takes about 2 seconds its running alright. if it takes less its hotter and if it takes more time its a little cooler.

I would suggest getting a temp gun. You don't want to take the change of destroying a engine that I'm sure cost $$$. I'd rather spend about $30 to get one and have it, then have to replace a 200 dollar engine. Just something to think about:bling:
