:DMaiden run for my Ofna Jammin X1CRT pro. 8 tanks in the parking lot to break in the GO 3PT .21 and 2 tanks at the track. This is one fun racer.

I placed second and third in the two 2008 MT points seasons @ the Hut.
I placed fifth racing my Revo against the sportman truggy gang. Those guys are a rough group.

I got the jammin X1CRT Pro out on the track today wow the power, the torque.the handling.the steering, the brakes,I am really looking forward to runnin the Turking race on the 11/23/08 444Elm St
Elwood NJ.:D

Great minds think alike! lol
I just started racing a CRT Pro myself. I'm running a bumpstart Axial.28 at the moment.
i still have my Picco 21 too. I have yet to try it in the truggy. The picco is pushing my daughter's Savage nicely though. I have to buy her another engine or go ahead buy myself a nice race motor. Let me know how that Go engine does, I have heard a lot of mixed reviews on them.

I run an LRP .28 Spec 3 in mine.....it is an animal with the JP-4 pipe......The Jammin is one heck of a machine isn't it?

Joey, ditch the JP-4 and put the JP-2 on it. It will reallly come to life. BIG difference. I'm sure the JP-4 is better on fuel consumption though. I loved that engine except for the runtime, it's a thirsty one for the first two gallons.
I am dropping back to my Picco .21 at the moment. Chaos inspired me to give the .21 a shot. I put the POS Axial back in the Savage.
The Axial did fine except for top end speed and fuel consumption. Got to go more than 6 minutes to be competitve. 5 1/2 minutes and it would be bone dry.
Captain??? Where are you?!

What's the weight on your Jammin? I've got a Monsoon that is 8.5lbs dry and while it's a beast it's not exactly dainty in handling. More of a "power through this turn muhahah" kind of driving.

I was looking at the Jammin truggy as they're supposedly a lighter chassis and more nimble. Or the Thunder Tiger ST1...

Hey Scrogg actually the JP-4 does real good I like it. I had a JP-1 and the 4 was a whole new ball game.....more bottom end and top end. WAY more power; it was like putting a new mill on. Amoeba, the weight of the Jammin is 9.2lbs. The extra weight is more than made up for by how tough that thing is. It is truly like a tank......just drives a lot better.

I only have 2 races on my Jammin. so far I love it.I'd rather my truck be a tad heavier than the rest of them. I love it when the other guys bump in to me and they go flying off the track instead of me! lol
When I raced my Revo against the big block monsters they kicked my poor little Revo around like a ping pong ball.

You are very right about the weight.....I have been the bully on the track before....in open 1/8 class I find it funny when buggies wanna swap paint.....yeah right!

How about a set up sheet foir the Jammin.I can't find one.I have everything set in the middle pretty much and running FD7,000wt/CD10,000 wt/RD5,000wt shocks 50wt big bores with blue spings.

Any suggestions?

I bent two Dynimate alluminum servo arms on the steering servo already. One in break in in the parking lot(bumped the curb) and one on the track within 2 tanks.Whats up with this?

I'll see if I can dig one up. You may want to go RD3,000 though. With the weight of your truggy, having a 7-10-5 means you may lose some rear traction on hard acceleration in turns like narrow hairpins in/out of a straightaway. I run 7-10-3 now on my Monsoon after I noticed that behavior with a 7-10-5. All depends on personal preference and driving I suppose. I have a lead finger. :)

Setup sheet for Jammin: http://www.jamminproducts.com/CRTsetups/X1-CRT SET-UP SHEET.pdf

The Jammin' likes 7K in the front diff, 20K in the center and 3K in the rear.
50wt oil in the front shocks. I have the 16mm Big Bores with the grey springs front and rear. 40-45 wt. oil in the rear. i tried the blue springs like the setup sheets say but they were too stiff for my taste.
Set the front roll center to the top position.. i basically used the setups above with a few of my own twists for my driving style....bad!:hehe:
Chaos, back off the servo saver spring adjustment. I got mine used and the dude had it cranked way up. Just keep backing off the adjustment nut until you can make the cam mechanism start to work by hand.

Thanks for the info guys.Scrogg I got mine used also and I did back off the servo saver spring some since but have not driven it since the adjustment.,I just wasn't sure how much to loosen it.I will look at it again, thanks for the info.Turkey race is Sunday, weather 42F as a high temp:whhooo:.I found some setups on the Jammin site too,I was looking on the Ofna site;).
The results for the last race(dash for cash) at Hobby Hut are posted on hobbyhut.com.Just when you think you fast someone comes along and whoops on ya by 3 seconds a lap.I did win some cash with the Revo in Monster truck and Sportsman Truggy though :third_place: :second_place:

Cool, i have never won any money. The truggy class is fiercely competitve.
There is two guys that race with me on a regular bassis. They run the old Mugen MBX5T. They are both surgeons with them. 4-5 seconds faster than me on lap times, and they are both consistent as hell.
Still learning though, I'll get em' sooner or later.
