I have a maxx with a 24.7 engine and the thing runs hot! I have jumbo kong tires but I modified the gear ratio to not put too much stress on the engine. I dont have any air leaks. What do you guys think?

It could be to lean so richin the HSN & LSN.and if that dont work try to cut out a few holes ih the body to increase air flow over the engine.I put a few 1/4 in hole in my windshield and a few holes in the back

I put a 2 inch hole in the front of my trucks and cut out the back window but leave a middle piece to help it not break up so soon.

Check for a dieing bearing in the drive train, dragging or slipping clutch, slipping flywheel. Also, if you still have stock sized tires laying around, put them on and see if it helps. Maybe you didn't gear low enough?
