Runnin a fan

How can I run an external fan for a mamba without plugging it into the rx? I have my servo, bec, esc and dig using all of my rx ports. Can I use a Y? If so, which would I "y" it with, the bec?

You can use a Y nad it might be best to run it off the BEC port since that goes directly to power.

You can do either way, Y harness it off the BEC or the RX. There will be slightly less power when running it off the RX.

You could also depending on what the fan is rated for just hook it up like you do a Castle BEC and that way when you plug ur battery in the BEC and fan both power on.....as well as everything else.
