my new tmaxx is going through its stock equipment almost every run and i end up replacing something everyday, I'm nice to my truck I'm not a car killer i take care of it, but how much stuff should i be expecting to replace? i dont mind replacing stuff its just starting to put a hole in my wallet:hehe:

the older t-maxx is not known to be the toughest rig stock. My advice is when you break something, upgrade to a stronger part.

say you snap an a arm. replace with RPM arms...

what are you breaking?

i twisted the rear drive shaft causing it to come off, and other smaller stuff and yeah everything i break gets replaced by something bigger and stronger
also what is the most common things that break first on nitro trucks

Bulkheads= replace with quality aluminum. Shock towers= I'd say aluminum with plastic body posts. Others may disagree. 4908 center shafts should fit with no problems. You'll need 2 rears. One for the front, one for the back. Beefier turnbuckles are a nice upgrade too.

I have the 4902 (2.5R) with a 3.3 on it and have toasted a few spur gears, some shock towers, drug through the easy start wires, a body thats is nearly dead, a front bulk head (hit a wall at about 30... oops...) and my exhaust got clogged and melted. i think it clogged from the engine being run to hot before or right after i got it and didnt know anything other than it was alot of fun to play with.

oh yea, then my dog ripped one of my tires off of my beadlocks. i got a new set of wheels and tires, it already had the 17mm thing a ma jigs.

I have run through 2 gallons on mine. Broke one Arm once hit a curve at about 30. I just replaced it back with the stock ones 4 bucks. I am not gentle on mine. I am not doing big jumps but I do constantly roll the hell out of it. Major end over end flips etc. I have flung the body off it a few times. You must be beating yours a lot harder than you think or admit to. I think the most end over end flips so far was 13. It was halarious! So far I have been impressed with the toughness. And the only reason I am not doing big jumps is because I have nothing to jump off yet. Just a little ramp I made. I would think the only time these break is when you hit something solid. or land wrong from a big jump. I have no idea how you twisted your drive shaft. When I drive mine I'm WOT about 80% of the time.

Twisted drive shafts are a sure sign of an overly tight slipper. Beefier shafts will then send that shock into the diffs. I should have mentioned that earlier.

Tell me again why you need two rears? I forgot.

Mine sees the same abuse and i broke my first bulkhead cause i slammed into a wall at about 30, it broke some other stuff as well but nothing nearly that major. went to my L
HS and picked up some blue integy alum front bulkheads.
