Took my savage 25 to the beach today and tore it up! :naughty: Jumbo max claw dawgs dig in good! Rooster tails all over the place. Got a little too brave an got caught by a quick wave, no water in engine, still runs awesome but my steering servo is slow as hell now...need to get a new one, tried new battteries but hardly helps. What servo have yall been upgrading to?

HiTec HS-5645MG digital servo produces 160 oz-in torque or its little brother the HS-645 non-digital which produces around 130 oz-in. Both are great servos to run.

Hey if your looking to turn those big 'ol tires, go with the strongest servo out there, of course also look at it's speed. I personally use Airtronics 94358Z ERG-VR High Speed/High Torque 200 oz/in. Man this thing will turn the world around. But, I must add you have to be using the hump pack 6V system. This thing is well worth the dough!!

Next time you run in the sand - water - snow, consider putting your servos inside a balloon to help prevent the sand/water/moisture/dirt from getting in them and ruining them.

30 minutes of preventative maintenance is worth the time - than to keep replacing your servos everytime you run in the sand.
