Budgets are really just a suggestion.

Ok, this puppy has the powerplant it deserves now!
The 050 brushed was powerful but jumpy. No smooth crawl. Bye bye.

This made it happen, you can see how the black skid relocated the trans lower and centered for the skinny AX "frame".
Gonna miss the brass skid and extra ground clearance.

Now we're cooking!

And finally, it crawls!!

Well I saw this coming...
See the stripe on the drives haft?
Yeah, the one where it touches the motor with suspension travel.
Gotta come up with a bump stop.

Take one of the shocks apart and go to the hardware store with the shock shaft. Find fuel line, or rubber line that will slip over and there's your bump stops.

I have a bunch of little o-rings, probably 4-5 per side should work.

Ok, finished the pack and determined that skid is costing me. Hanging up everywhere.
I'm going to put the heavier springs - and some stops- on my other shocks and swap them. Needs the ground clearance back.
