You can get the Savage SS 4.6. You can build that one. Try RUSHRC, one of our forum sponsors. Ask for Bruce.

Or are you looking for one without an engine? I don't know if there is such an animal. I think it's either RTR or kit form w/engine.

At this point there is no kit form for the savage X. As stated the only kit savage is the SS 4.6.

If I had to guess, HPI has plans for a kit Savage X with a nicer engine. But that may not be out for a while.

I heard in the new x kit that will be coming out who knows when, you will get the 4.6 HO motor with it. I will DEFINATLY buy one of those!

I saw it yesterday at rcx the savage xss it is basicly the savage x with the 4.6 big block and dirt bones tires on dish wheels some other upgrades might be included but that is all the catalog showed and the HPI rep didn't know to much on the truck.
