Rs4 3 ss that needs help

I want to race my rs4 3 ss. This is what i have, i have front and rear cvd's, graphite upper deck, new battery stuff, and my spur gears are the stcok 47 and 43, but i put the red pinion gears on. This is what i want to know.
what air filter i should get
what engine i should get WITH a pullstart
what better gearing ration that gives more acceleration
what racing pipe
any other suggestions?

and NO i will not sell my car because its not made for racing, i dont care I'm keeping it, not buying tc3 or r40. thanks for you help.

motorsaver makes some nice filters,I installed the .15CV-RX by OS.It isnt ROAR legal but I race alota parking lot events and they dont mind,THS racing makes a nice polished pipe and header for the ss,great combo.I dont understand the gearing question,the stock gearing is for alota low and mid speed,the car has no top speed with stock gears.Do you want to rob even more top speed from the car?Your acceleration issue could be from an improper tune or worn mill.I recomend getting the new mill and running it before you make any gear descisions.

I have the HPI air filter on my SS. It's the same thing as the Motorsaver. I like it.

Since you have the 19/23 red pinions, you're already going to have less acceleration than with the stock 18/22 purple ones. You can get the gold pinions, 17/21, and that'll will give you a lot of acceleration. I have all the pinions with the golds on now. It's a really quick ratio that might be good for what you're doing.

Everyone recommends the THS header/pipe. I don't have one because I beat on my car and don't want to damage a $50 pipe. But, one of my friends has it and it's good stuff.

Thanks, but with the gold, can you estimate about how fast yours tops out at? I think most of my problems is witht he tuning, my engine only has about 2 gallons, so the compression is OK, but I still dont know what engine would be faster, has a pullstart and wont make me have to tune it everytime I want to start the car. Thanks again.
